Ammar Nassar is admitted to practice before the Courts of Quebec in Canada, the Canadian Supreme Court, and the Egyptian Courts of Appeal. Ammar’s practice focuses on Maritime Law.
In addition to representing clients before the Canadian and Egyptian Courts, Ammar provides clients with legal opinions and strategic advice. He regularly handles disputes regarding applications for forced surrenders, and annulment of commercial and civil contracts due to non-performance.
Ammar published the ‘Annotated Egyptian Civil Code’, which constitutes a compilation of the articles of the Egyptian Civil Code, commenting on the precedents of the Egyptian Court of Cassation and other applicable statutory provisions.
Ammar studied Law at Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne where he obtained both his L.L.B. and L.L.M. degrees. He also obtained an L.L.B. degree from Université de Montréal.
