Ammar is admitted to practice before the Courts of the Province of Quebec, Canada, and the Canadian Supreme Court. He is also admitted to practice before the Egyptian Courts of Appeal within the Arab republic of Egypt.

Ammar practice focuses on Maritime Law and provides clients with legal opinions and strategic advice to representing clients before the Canadian and Egyptian Courts.

He is regularly involved in various disputes involving applications for forced surrenders and for the annulment of several commercial and civil contracts due to non-performance.

Ammar studied law at Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne where he obtained a L.L.B and a L.L.M. degrees as well as Université de Montréal where he obtained a L.L.B. degree.

Ammar also published the “Annotated Egyptian Civil Code”, a compilation of the articles of the Egyptian Civil Code commented by the precedents of the Egyptian Court of Cassation and other applicable Statutory provisions.
