At the educational level, Frederic Soliman obtained in 2002 a "Maîtrise" on International Business Law from Paris I University, Pantheon Sorbonne, a L.L.B. from Cairo University the same year and a Master Degree on International Business Law from Paris I University, Pantheon Sorbonne, in association with Cairo University in 2007.
A dual French and Egyptian national lawyer, Soliman is fluent in French, English and Arabic and has completed an international “Stage” at the Paris Bar Association, including a month internship at Fasken Martineau and has successfully passed the Paris Bar examination.
Soliman was admitted at the Cairo Bar Association in 2004 and Paris Bar in 2015.

Hashish is a bilingual Arabic and English lawyer and he has been recognized by Who’s Who Legal and IFLR 1000 as one of the “highly regarded” leading lawyers – for M&A, Banking & Finance and Project developments – in Egypt for the years between 2015 to 2019.
Due to his active practice and achievements, Hashish was appointed as (i) a Vice-Chair at both the International Financial Products & Services Committee and the Middle East Committee of the International Law Section at the American Bar Association for the ABA terms starting from August 2016 to August 2020; (ii) a Board member of the United Nations Global Compact in Egypt; and (iii) a Beachhead Advisor for Egypt at the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise.

Dina Salah has over fifteen (15) years of experience in handling Banking & Finance, M&A, Corporate, Oil & Gas, Antitrust and IPRs.
Salah is a trilingual Arabic, English and French lawyer. Before joining Soliman, Hashish and Partners, she served for several key positions during her career including Legal Counsel at Apache Companies Egypt (a group of Apache’s companies), North Africa Area Head of Legal at British American Tobacco Egypt, Partner and Head of the Banking & Finance Group at a top tier law firm in Cairo and Deputy Manager of the IPRs Office at the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).
At the educational level, Salah completed her PhD in Private Law at the University of Montpellier 1, France, an advanced Diploma in Business Contract Law (Droit des Contrats d’Affaires) at the University of Montpellier 1, France, and a Master Degree in International Business Law at Institut de Droit des Affaires Internationales (I.D.A.I.), Cairo University in conjunction with Paris-IX Dauphine University.

Rana Ashour was originally graduated from the Law School (English section) of Cairo University and then she decided to shift her career to HR as she is passionate about it.
Rana holds an MBA in Human Resources. She believes that a company’s greatest asset are its employees, because of this she works hard to ensure that she firstly recruit the right people, and secondly look after them properly.
She is always eager to learn different HR Functions and gain more experience, knowledge and make difference in whatever work assigned to her.
Since qualifying as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales in 1995, Ashley has worked as a financial services lawyer spending in the City of London and the Kingdom of Bahrain. He began his career in private practice working for many large investment banks in the City, and soon developed a niche reputation for Islamic finance and relocated to the Arab Gulf region in 2001.
Ashley was initially Head of Legal at Gulf International Bank but quickly gained global recognition as General Counsel of the Central Bank of Bahrain – consequently having enormous influence on the development of Bahrain as a leading Islamic finance centre. He was responsible for drafting many of the banking & financial services laws of the country, including the Central Bank of Bahrain and Financial Institutions Law. Amongst many other ground-breaking initiatives, he personally advised the Ministry of Finance on every international sovereign sukuk issue of the Kingdom (some of the first anywhere in the world) during his 13 year tenure as the Bahrain’s senior most public sector banking lawyer. Ashley has been Head of Islamic Finance at two City of London law firms, including at Clifford Chance where he set-up the Islamic finance department.
He has also worked on numerous bank re-organisations, including some of the first Islamic bank mergers, acquisitions and conversions. Ashley is widely recognised as an expert on financial rescues in the Gulf region and led the legal team for the regulator and largest creditor of the world’s biggest Islamic bank restructuring and the first carried out within Chapter 11 US bankruptcy code proceedings.
On the international stage, Ashley was a member of the working parties that designed and set-up the influential Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) and International Islamic Financial Market (IIFM), personally drafting their founding documents. He was also a member of the working party that established Bahrain’s highly-acclaimed Waqf Fund.
Ashley is a member of Gateway’s Banking & Finance, Business Recovery, Conversion Factory, Dispute Resolution, Executive Strategy, Turkey Desk, and Waqf & Philanthropy practices.
Ashley studied law at Cambridge University where he gained BA and MA degrees and was President of the Islamic Society.
Tarek Hassan is a bilingual lawyer (Arabic/English) and has over sixteen (16) years of experience in Real Estate, Agency and Litigation.
Marwa AlSherif has over seven (7) years of experience in handling Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions, Commercial Contracts, NGOs, IPRs, Public Procurement and Labour matters.
Marwa is a bilingual Arabic and English lawyer.
Before working at Soliman, Hashish & Partners on Dec 4, 2016, Marwa served for several legal roles at several entities including, inter alia, the Egyptian House of Representatives as a Parliamentary Assistant.
